Title: Senior Payroll Analyst

Grade: 11

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Summary:

The payroll specialist position supports payroll activities for NCRs Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, with the primary focus of supporting Serbia. The role will support the organization by:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the payroll processing team ensuring the processes are running effectively and accurately

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing and supervision payroll staff including interviewing and selection, hiring, discipline, and termination of staff

  • Act as a back-up and payroll processor and processing payroll for one or more of the countries supported by the region

  • Develop and implement new processes

  • Timely and Accurate complexioned payroll processing as assigned

  • Resolving employee payroll issues using written and oral communication

  • Completion of regulatory and internal payroll tax, labor and wage reporting as assigned

  • Assisting with payroll audits, both internal and external

  • Accurate and timely creation, posting and reconciliation of payroll ledger accounts as assigned

  • Review and sign-off of payroll related account reconciliations

  • Assist department with update of employee pay records, as assigned

  • Participating in year-end activities with the region as assigned

  • This position will report to the EMEA Payroll Regional Leader.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate completions of payroll / administrative tasks.

  • Responsible for payroll vendor management, including SLA and invoice review Reconciliation of Financial postings / balance sheet accounts where appropriate

  • Timely completion of regulatory payroll labor and wage reporting

  • Adheres to established policy and procedures

  • Year-end processes to support accurate and timely administration of payroll responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Higher national diploma

  • 4+ years of experience in payroll / accounting / administration

  • Excellent grasp of the English language, both verbal and written

  • Audits experience is preferred (SOX, payroll tax)

  • Proficient Excel skills required, with a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite applications. (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
