The Senior Implementations Consultant is part of a team of associates supporting NCR Voyix’s suite of hosted banking related solutions. NCR Voyix’s containerized solutions are installed in multi-server environments and operate on a number of technology stacks and utilize technologies such as Kubernetes, Windows, Linux, Postgres, SQL and Oracle databases and are hosted both on-prem and in the cloud (GCP and AWS). You will be required to gather requirements, consult on varying implementation solutions to suit customer needs and provide technical assistance in a very active and dynamic role. This role will require you to take a guiding role to produce successful results for both NCR Voyix and our customers.
As an Implementations Consultant, you will be directly accountable for customer success and must possess the technical depth and communicative skills to deliver on customer commitments.
This exciting opportunity will involve:
Information gathering on implementation requirements at the start of a project, while assisting customers to identify gaps and find solutions that meet their needs
Installation and configuration of application components in either cloud hosted or on-premise deployment
Technical depth to consult with customer’s in a knowledgeable fashion on both core NCR Voyix’s application functions as well as knowledge of third-party components the applications interface with
Leadership qualities to provide direction and insight to both team members and customers for complex and time constrained issues
Assisting with issue analysis and resolution and system performance testing
Applying maintenance patches to software and other related third-party components
Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies, to meet product and customer needs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience is required
5+ years of system administration and/or Production IT support
5+ years working knowledge of LINUX, Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
3+ years working experience with network topology in relation to enterprise solutions
Employees are expected to participate in after-hours upgrades and system maintenance on occasion
Must be able to work with a geographically dispersed team, handle periods of high pressure, and manage multiple high priority tasks while meeting customer expectations
Travel will be required throughout the US and Canada, on occasion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Well versed with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including hands-on experience writing in-depth queries
Containers and Kubernetes technologies and containerized life cycle management in relation to cloud and containerized deployments
Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment tools, including Helm
Knowledge of Cassandra and Elasticsearch beneficial
GCP and/or AWS deployment experience
